The membership aims to advance the development <\/span>of the user-owned metaverse<\/span><\/h2>\n

OVER is pleased to announce its membership of OMA3\u2122.<\/span><\/p>\n

OMA3, which stands for Open Metaverse Alliance, is a collaboration of Web3 metaverse platform creators, which aims to ensure that virtual land, digital assets, ideas, and services are highly interoperable between platforms and transparent to all communities. <\/span><\/p>\n

The keywords: Interoperability and cooperation<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our own work with interoperability became evident well over a year ago at NFC Lisbon, with the addition of characters from The Sandbox to the OVER digital layer. And at this year\u2019s Metaverse Fashion Week, OVER and Decentraland creators participated in a cross-metaverse design competition, with winning wearables produced for both platforms and celebrated at an augmented reality fashion show in the center of Milan.<\/span><\/p>\n

A shared future of compatible goals<\/span><\/h2>\n

OMA3<\/a> was launched, on 1st November, by a group of Web3 dedicated companies, to create standards for an interconnected digital world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision to join OMA3 derives from sharing compatible goals, not only with OMA3 but with renowned Web3 entities such as The Sandbox, Decentraland, Lumina1, and Alien Worlds among others. These goals include:<\/span><\/p>\n
