The facts, figures and highlights from four incredible years (yep, just <\/span>four years<\/b>!)<\/span><\/h2>\n

In January 2019, founders Davide Cuttini and Diego Di Tommaso published the OVR White Paper \u2013 a document outlining their vision for the ultimate AR metaverse. Ambitious as the white paper and its roadmap were, neither Davide or Diego could have predicted the phenomenal growth that recently culminated in the OVER metaverse reaching one million global users.<\/span><\/p>\n

May 18th\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0Launch of the OVR App in Google Play and Apple Store<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0First ever Treasure Hunt launched\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

June \u2013\u00a0OVRLive goes\u2026 live. Users start creating their own personalized avatars in the OVR metaverse<\/span><\/p>\n

November 30th\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Launch of Initial Bond Curve Offering (IBCO) and OVR marketplace<\/span><\/p>\n

Dec 1st\u00a0\u2013\u00a0First OVRLand sold and minted in the heart of <\/span>Shibuya, Tokyo<\/span><\/p>\n

2021<\/b><\/h2>\n

March\u00a0\u2013\u00a0OVR Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Bridge goes live<\/span><\/p>\n

April\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Launch of OVR Builder and the first OVR Art Gallery Exhibition<\/span><\/p>\n

April 30th\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Records are broken as the Eiffel Tower OVRLand fetches 38.6 ETH at auction<\/span><\/p>\n

October\u00a0\u2013 The first Play-to-Earn NFT Treasure Hunt, with the Doge Pound, goes live<\/span><\/p>\n

December 9\u00a0\u2013 500K OVRLands sold<\/span><\/p>\n

January \u2013\u00a0Polygon migration starts, with 776.5k OVRLands minted on Polygon by the end of February<\/span><\/p>\n

April 1 \u2013\u00a0OVR integrates The Sandbox 3D Assets. Three days later, the first cross-metaverse contest with The Sandbox starts<\/span><\/p>\n

April 7 \u2013\u00a0OVR re-brands to OVER<\/span><\/p>\n

December\u00a0\u2013\u00a0map2earn<\/span>\u24c7<\/span> Beta launched, heralding a new era in mapping for the world<\/span><\/p>\n

2023<\/b><\/h2>\n

February\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0OVER and Decentraland launch \u2018linked wearables\u2019 as part of the second Metaverse Fashion Week<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0OVER reaches one million users<\/span><\/p>\n

As of today, 863k OVRLands have been sold, 1.5mln OVRLands have been explored, and 37 OVR App upgrades have been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n
