OVR is proud to announce the detailed rules for the OVR prize distribution powered by Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF). We will run 2 main competitions, one for treasure hunters and one for OVRLand buyers.

OVR Treasure Hunt Competition<\/h2>\n

Once the competition has begun, every OVRLand in which a treasure has been discovered, will be listed on a specific interface available to users.
\nThe treasure hunt competition will take place during 3 different rounds of competition:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1<\/strong>. From 22\/06\/21 23:59 GMT to 30\/07\/21 23:59 GMT, a prize of $5k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

2<\/strong>. From 31\/08\/21 23:59 GMT to 30\/09\/21 23:59 GMT, a prize of $5k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. From 01\/10\/21 23:59 GMT to 31\/10\/21 23:59 GMT, a prize of $5k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

At the end of each treasure hunt competition period the list of all OVRLands in which treasures were discovered by participants will be created and made publicly available. The list will be ordered by ascending OVRLand Hex. OVR will generate a publicly verifiable random number using Chainlink\u2019s VRF to select the winner from this list.
\nOnly users who have completed the KYC process will be able to participate. The Python script used to display the winner will be made publicly available before the winner is announced.<\/p>\n

OVRLand Buyer Competition<\/strong><\/h2>\n

All OVRLands acquired in the primary marketplace during the competition start date will qualify for the OVR prize.
\nThis competition will take place during 5 different rounds:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1<\/strong>. All OVRLands acquired from 22\/06\/21 23:59 GMT to 30\/07\/21 23:59 GMT will qualify for an entry in to a VRF powered drawing for the OVR prize. A prize of $10k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

2<\/strong>. All OVRLands acquired from 02\/08\/21 23:59 GMT to 31\/08\/21 23:59 GMT will qualify for an entry in to a VRF powered drawing for the OVR prize. A prize of $10k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. All OVRLands acquired from 02\/09\/21 23:59 GMT to 30\/09\/21 23:59 GMT will qualify for an entry in to a VRF powered drawing for the OVR prize. A prize of $10k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

4<\/strong>. All OVRLands acquired from 02\/10\/21 23:59 GMT to 31\/10\/21 23:59 GMT will qualify for an entry in to a VRF powered drawing for the OVR prize. A prize of $10k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

5<\/strong>.\u00a0 All OVRLands acquired from 02\/11\/21 23:59 GMT to 30\/11\/21 23:59 GMT will qualify for an entry in to a VRF powered drawing for the OVR prize. A prize of $10k USD equivalent will be paid in OVR.<\/p>\n

Users buying OVRLands from the start of the competition will be able to see the list of the OVRLands that they\u2019ve bought during the current round on a special competition interface. At the end of each round a list (ordered by ascending OVRLand hex number) of all OVRLands acquired in the period will be made publicly available.
\nOVR will generate a publicly verifiable random number using Chainlink\u2019s VRF to select the winner from this list.
\nOnly OVRLand auctions that started prior to the closing date of the current round, and closed before the starting date of the next round, will qualify. Prizes will be immediately available to participants to withdraw or spend in the platform. Only users who have completed the KYC process will be able to participate.
