Over the last few years, we have [&hellip;]","content":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">One of the Top 5 most valuable companies in the world has acquired a license for Over the Reality\u2019s 3D mapping dataset to train next-generation vision foundation models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This represents a major milestone for OVER and a strong validation of the direction we started building toward years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Over the last few years, we have been developing one of the largest crowdsourced spatial datasets of the physical world, mapping cities, streets, and indoor spaces across the globe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Today, the OVER dataset includes:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>192,000+ high-quality 3D maps<\/li>\n<li>864TB+ of real-world spatial data<\/li>\n<li>92.7M+ images<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">But why does this matter?<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Because the next generation of AI systems will need massive amounts of real-world spatial data to understand, interpret, and interact with the physical world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This includes robotics, AI agents, spatial computing, Visual Positioning Systems, and vision-based foundation models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As AI moves beyond screens and starts operating in the real world, spatial data becomes a fundamental layer of its infrastructure.
